Recently, In Their Words

"Pearl Valley on Wednesday, De Zalze on Thursday, Arabella on Friday. Every transfer, every tee time, every wine tasting arranged. We didn't lift a finger."
Andrew R.Edinburgh, UK
"Steenberg at sunrise, whales at Hermanus by lunch, and a chef's table at Val de Vie that evening. The Cape doesn't get orchestrated better than this."

Practical Notes

Before you play.

When is the best time to play in the Cape?+

Peninsula and Whale Coast: November–April for warm, dry rounds. Winelands: September–November and March–May are ideal — you avoid the Cape 'Doctor' summer wind that can affect Erinvale and Arabella from December to February.

How do you handle Fancourt — is it really 6 hours away?+

Yes. Fancourt is in George on the Garden Route. We arrange a 1-hour flight from Cape Town, resort accommodation, and the member introduction that unlocks the Links course. It works best as a 3-day extension rather than a day trip.

Can you pair rounds with wine estate visits?+

Every Winelands round can be paired with cellar-door tastings, chef's tables and vineyard walks — Kleine Zalze, Val de Vie, Steenberg Estate, Delaire Graff and Boschendal are our regular partners.

Do you deliver rental clubs to my hotel?+

Yes. Standard delivery is to V&A Waterfront, Camps Bay, Constantia and Winelands hotels the evening before your first round, and collection after your last.

What about caddies, carts and dress code?+

Most Cape courses permit walking with a caddie — we arrange caddies as standard. Dress is smart collared shirts, tailored shorts or trousers, and soft spikes. Denim is not permitted at any of the courses listed.
